India Inspired

I had a lot of fun making this piece.  I finally got to experiment with an idea that I’ve had for a while. Using stencils with stain.  I am pretty happy with the results.  The canvas is 16×20 red oak plywood.  Stain and aerosol.  Around 21 stencils went into this one.  You can see it in person on June 20th, 2014 as part of the “All My Friends Have Knives” show at East End Studio Gallery.  708 Telephone Rd.
